
I really love this traditional Japanese cooked rice.
The ingredients; burdock, carrot, konnyaku, abura-age and chicken breast, they are all cut into small pieces. I always season the rice with white soy sauce and sake (the ratio: 2 tbsps soy sauce, 2 tbsps sake to 2 cups of rice)

*cooked rice balls
*tuna confit and bell peppers salad
*rolled omelette
*pickled cucumber and radish
*plum compote
今日は炊き込みごはんのおにぎり弁当です。今日は柔らかい新コボウをざっくり刻んでいれたので、他の具材も少し大きめに。鶏肉は醤油とお酒で下味を付けて。炊き込みごはんは、お米2合に、薄口醤油大2、酒大2、がいつもの割合です。

・ツナのコンフィとパプリカのサラダ
・だし巻き卵
・キュウリと蕪のピクルス
・梅のコンポート

How to pack the cooked rice balls and the food into the bento box:
After forming rice balls and wrapping them with nori seaweed, wrap with plastic wrap and keep them tightly and let them rest for a few minutes. So they firmly stick together. When it comes to cooked rice, there are some veggies in it, so I don’t prepare so many vegetable side dishes for this bento. Pickles are always perfect when you need an extra side dishes.
炊き込みごはんのおにぎり弁当。おにぎりを握って海苔を巻いた後、ラップフィルムで包んでしばらく置くと、ノリがピッタリ綺麗におにぎりにつきます。ラップをはがす時は丁寧にそっとね。
