
STEP 1: fill the bento box with rice.
In this case, I formed a flower-shaped rice ball with mold and then pack in the box.
STEP 2: pack main dishes into the empty part of the bento box.
In this case, I put rolled omelette (cut into bite-size) into the bento box and then pack sausages in the box along with steam-fried veggies.
STEP 3: pack vegetables side dishes and pickles into the remaining spaces.
In this case, I packed simmered sugar snap peas, and simmered fava beans.
STEP 4: add any garnish to finish up the bento box beautifully.
I put takuan-pickles, soy-glazed walnuts, bird-shaped carrot and tiny fresh leaves (over the rolled omelette) into the box.
